This is Eddie Cochran's biography and an overview of his achievements. Eddie Cochran was only 21 years old when he died in a tragic accident while on tour in the United Kingdom. In these biography pages you can read about his live and music. For a comprehensive reading about Eddie Cochran check out the In Print page which lists a few essential books. Dark Lonely Street is an article by Phil Davies about the circumstances around the accident that took Eddie's life. The Facts page gathers the hits, the songs he wrote, the movies he played in, etc. A timeline of Eddie's life is on the Biography page. 43 years after Eddie's death I was in Chippenham to take some pictures of the memorial plaque and the site where the fatal accident happened. You can find the pictures on the Chippenham page. I was very fortunate to meet the Cochran family in Eddie's birthplace Albert Lea in June 2004, see the Albert Lea pages.
